NIGHT MARKETS II

Food are plentiful at the night markets and to cover the whole place one needs at least 2 visits.  Every stall commands long queue and in order to taste all food one has to be patient.

Fried bun filled with large luscious oysters and prawns.  An open bun filled with oysters, prawns and an egg and deep fried in oil


Deep fried fresh milk in hot oil - an unusual food


Large glutinous meat balls with bamboo shoot strips cooked in oil.  Slurping up the hot meat balls coated with chilly and their special sauce.  The delicious balls were glutinous and chewy


The popular Shilin barbecue chicken


Braised soya pork rice, a signature dish of Taiwan.
